I’m also a mother of 2 teenagers growing up in a time when social media & AI are reshaping society. I learned the hard way that following the “best practices” for keeping kids safe online was not enough. Addictive, dangerous algorithms led my son down a horrifically dark path, & I nearly lost him to online radicalization by 764 & Nihilistic Violent Extremist groups. Despite my pleas for help, a collective “this is just reality for teens in the digital age” attitude delayed treatment until it was almost too late.
It was up to me to save my son. I created a digital detox protocol & enlisted a team of mental health and de-radicalization experts to support his recovery. Today, he’s thriving (and still has a dumb phone).
Now my mission is educating audiences about the underestimated dangers of unrestrained tech, challenging our collective addiction to devices, & advocating for policies that keep kids safe online.
Through a powerful story of healing & reconnection after nearly losing my son to Nihilistic Violent Extremism (NVE), I aim to:
Raise awareness about Nihilistic Violent Extremist (NVE) groups like 764 that target our children on mainstream online platforms.
Equip parents & youth professionals to recognize the warning signs before it’s too late.
Empower people to embrace digital wellness and a tech-intentional lifestyle, encouraging real-world connection. Reconnecting "IRL" can improve mental health & keep children safe from online harm.
